1906 – U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt wins the Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the first American to win a Nobel Prize only five years earlier on this same day, the first Nobel prizes were awarded in 1901

1964 – The “King of the Barbeque” Iron Chef Bobby Flay is born in New York, NY. About 17 years later flavor would never be the same again.

2009 – December 10th is the 345th day of the year; which means only 21 days left. This day has a cool little succession to it. (345 and 21)

December 10th is Human Rights Day and is also known for being Nobel Prize Day around the world.
